Wasiyat, a flagship initiative by Khair Labs, was founded to solve a critical gap: providing Indian Muslim families with the tools to fulfill their religious obligations through a secure, legally-sound digital ecosystem. We bridge the gap between classical jurisprudence and 21st-century security.
Our Mission
Islamic inheritance law (Ilm al-Faraid) is one of the most precisely defined areas of Shariah. The Quran dedicates specific verses to inheritance shares, and centuries of scholarly work have refined the rules for every conceivable family configuration.
Yet in India, home to an estimated 200 million-plus Muslims (Pew Research Center, 2021), access to accurate inheritance planning remains limited. Many families rely on informal arrangements that can lead to disputes, or general-purpose tools that do not account for the nuances of Islamic law.
Wasiyat bridges this gap by combining deep Fiqh knowledge with modern technology. Our platform handles the mathematical complexity of Faraid calculations while providing clear, actionable guidance that any family can follow.
