Is a will made with this tool legally valid in India?
Documents are aligned with the Muslim Personal Law (Shariat) Application Act, 1937, and use court-oriented formatting. Under Muslim personal law a will doesn't require registration, or even witnesses, to be valid (unless you married under the Special Marriage Act, 1954, which requires two attesting witnesses). We still walk you through attestation by two adult witnesses, because it provides strong evidence if the will is ever challenged. Wasiyat doesn't guarantee legal validity or enforceability of any document; for maximum legal strength, we recommend notarization and review by a qualified Islamic scholar or attorney.
