Our Guiding Principles
Primary Source Authority
All inheritance rules derive from the Quran, authenticated Sunnah, and established scholarly consensus (ijma). Calculations are hash-verified and every generated document is DIN-tracked for full traceability. We never invent rules.
Doctrinal Accuracy
Each school of thought is implemented faithfully. We do not blend or cherry-pick between madhabs — your chosen doctrine is applied in full.
No Fatwas Issued
Wasiyat is an educational and planning tool. We do not issue religious rulings. For definitive guidance, consult a qualified mufti or alim.
Community Accountability
Our advisory board represents both Sunni and Shia scholarship, ensuring the platform serves the entire Indian Muslim community faithfully.

Chief Shariah Advisor
Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh al-Mawarith)
Responsibilities
- Reviews all doctrine rulebooks for accuracy
- Validates calculation engine against classical sources
- Approves Quranic and hadith citations used in the platform
- Signs off on rulebook versions before deployment
Doctrines covered: Sunni (Hanafi, Shafi’i, Maliki, Hanbali)
Ja’fari Jurisprudence Advisor
Shia Inheritance Law (Fiqh Ja’fari)
Responsibilities
- Reviews Ja’fari-specific inheritance rules
- Validates differences in blocking, awl, and radd application
- Ensures accurate representation of Ithna Ashari positions
- Advises on contemporary Shia inheritance questions

Indian Muslim Personal Law Advisor
Muslim Personal Law in India
Responsibilities
- Reviews platform compliance with the Shariat Application Act, 1937
- Advises on state-specific execution requirements for all Indian states
- Validates document templates for Indian legal validity
- Reviews nominee vs. heir educational content

Rulebook Review Process
Source Verification
Every rule in our calculation engine is traced to a primary source — Quranic verse, authenticated hadith, or established ijma (scholarly consensus).
Rulebook Review
Doctrine rulebooks are reviewed by the relevant advisor. Each rule includes a citation, condition, and share assignment that must match classical fiqh texts.
Golden Vector Testing
Test cases with known correct outcomes are validated against the engine output. Results must match to 6 decimal places across all 6 doctrines.
Version Signing
Approved rulebooks are version-stamped and hash-verified. Any change to a rulebook requires re-review and re-signing by the advisory board.
Document Integrity Audit
The board reviews the PDF templates to ensure all documents meet Islamic and legal standards — including proper attestation clauses, witness sections, and scholar endorsement blocks.
